Three English ladies in their mid 60s have found themselves free and single and now living in Paris.
A feel-good play with laughter and tears, the promise of romance, friendship and anger, and the advantages and disadvantages of growing old.
Roles:
Nancy: Retired headmistress, kind and well organised. Speaks a little French
Anna: Recently widowed, has cared for her invalid husband for the past 20 years. Mousy and downtrodden, lacking in confidence.
Raquel: A divorcee (5 times) now searching for eternal youth and a new toy boy.
One male role (mid 50s)
Charlot: French, out of work actor working as a home handyman, perhaps ruggedly attractive. Must be able to speak French convincingly and good English with a French accent. Also needs to sing.
