Subtitled “A New Look At The Odd Couple”, this is Neil Simon’s update of based upon the success of the new T V series featuring a younger cast, but following the original set up. Oscar has the boys over for beers and cards. Felix moves in when he suddenly needs a place to stay (wife trouble) and life is no longer so simple.
Roles Available:
Due to the offer of paid film work, a replacement actor is sought for the role of Oscar . Stage age, from early thirties to forties.
Also: Actor, Stage age mid 20’s to early 40’s to join the boys; regular players at the weekly card games. They have known each other for quite a while and appreciate the regular “night off” from their families at Oscar’s place. Lots of witty point- scoring based on their long term friendship.
Rehearsals:
Three rehearsals a week from July – two weeknights to be advised and Sundays
Performances:
Production week begins on Sunday 28th August and the season for the production is 1st September – 10th September (inclusive).
